돌아오는 기차 안.

잠시 사각형의 세계에서 달아나 시월의 마지막주는 베를린과 프라하를 다녀왔다. 새로운 사람들과 낯선 도시들. 다시 작업실에 돌아가서 어떻게 그려야 할 지 여전히 알 수 없다. 막막한 마음으로 바라보는 어두 컴컴한 창 밖 풍경.

나는 또 다시 돌아가고 있다.

On the train back.

Stepping away
from the world of squares for a while,
I spent the last week of October
in Berlin and Prague.
New people
and unfamiliar cities.

Returning to the studio,
I still don’t know
how I should draw.

With a sense of uncertainty,
I look out
at the darkening view
beyond the window.

Once again,
I am on my way back.
